Inner Edge Psychology does not provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counselling, psychotherapy, or any services that require registration as a psychologist under Australian law.

The services provided are educational and consultative in nature and are designed to translate evidence-informed sport psychology principles into practical strategies that can be applied within sporting environments.

Where an individual requires psychological assessment, mental health support, or psychological treatment, they should seek the services of an appropriately qualified and registered health professional.

5. Educational Purpose

All workshops, presentations, consultations, and digital resources are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

The information provided is designed to support learning and the practical application of sport psychology principles and should not be interpreted as psychological treatment, counselling, therapy, medical advice, or individual clinical assessment.

6. No Therapeutic Relationship

Participation in any workshop, consultation, or purchase of a digital resource does not establish:

  • a psychologist-client relationship;

  • a therapeutic relationship;

  • an ongoing consultancy arrangement; or

  • any duty of ongoing professional care beyond the agreed service.

7. Minors and Junior Participants

Some workshops or services may involve participants under 18 years of age (for example, junior athletes engaged through a school, club, or sporting organisation).

Where a booking organisation engages Inner Edge Psychology to deliver services involving participants under 18, the booking organisation is responsible for obtaining any necessary parental or guardian consent prior to participation, including consent for any recording, photography, or documentation permitted under these Terms.

Inner Edge Psychology relies on the booking organisation's confirmation that appropriate consents are in place and does not independently verify individual parental or guardian consent.

8. Complimentary Consultation

Inner Edge Psychology offers a complimentary 30-minute consultation to sporting organisations and teams to discuss their needs in relation to the advertised workshops. The consultation will cover:

  • team goals;

  • current challenges;

  • current objectives; and

  • the most relevant workshop(s).

The complimentary consultation is advisory in nature and is limited to discussing the suitability of Inner Edge Psychology's workshop offerings. It does not constitute psychological treatment, ongoing consultancy, or personalised psychological advice.

To ensure an accurate record of the discussion and any agreed workshop recommendations, consultations may be recorded or documented with the knowledge and consent of all participants. Any recordings or notes will be managed in accordance with the Inner Edge Psychology Privacy Policy.

9. Workshop Bookings

Workshop bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until the applicable booking process has been completed.

Inner Edge Psychology offers two methods of booking workshops:

A: Consultation Booking Pathway

Organisations may first book a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss their team's needs, goals, and the most appropriate workshop(s). Following the consultation:

  • the selected workshop(s), date, time, and location will be agreed upon by both parties;

  • a written booking confirmation and invoice will be issued;

  • the booking will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance payable following completion of the workshop.

B: Website Booking Pathway

Customers may also purchase workshops directly through the Inner Edge Psychology website. Where a workshop is purchased online:

  • payment is required in full at the time of purchase;

  • Inner Edge Psychology will contact the purchaser as soon as reasonably practicable to arrange a suitable workshop date, time, and location;

  • workshop dates remain subject to mutual availability.

If a suitable date cannot be agreed within a reasonable timeframe, Inner Edge Psychology will work with the purchaser to identify an alternative arrangement.

10. Workshop Delivery

Workshops are designed to be delivered in person, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The booking organisation is responsible for providing a suitable venue and ensuring participants can comfortably engage in the workshop.

The booking organisation is also responsible for providing the equipment required to deliver the workshop presentation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this includes:

  • a projector, television, or large display screen suitable for all participants to clearly view the presentation;

  • any necessary cables, adapters, or connection equipment required to connect the computer to the display;

  • appropriate audio equipment where required;

  • seating and an appropriate learning environment for all participants.

If the required equipment is unavailable, the booking organisation must notify Inner Edge Psychology prior to the workshop. While reasonable efforts will be made to identify an alternative solution, Inner Edge Psychology cannot guarantee full delivery of the workshop where the required presentation equipment is not available.

11. Workshop Capacity

The standard workshop fee includes up to 30 participants per workshop.

If the booking organisation wishes to include more than 30 participants, this must be discussed and agreed with Inner Edge Psychology prior to confirming the booking. Additional participants may incur an additional fee, which will be communicated before the workshop is confirmed.

The booking organisation is responsible for providing an accurate estimate of participant numbers before the workshop.

If the number of participants exceeds the agreed booking without prior notification, Inner Edge Psychology reserves the right to charge an additional participant fee. Any additional charges will be itemised and included on the final invoice issued following delivery of the workshop.

12. Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Current pricing includes:

  • Single Workshop (90 minutes): $200

  • Workshop Bundle (3 Workshops): $500

Workshop bundles may combine athlete and coach workshops.

Prices may change without notice; however, a confirmed booking will be honoured at the agreed price.

13. Payment Terms

Payment arrangements may vary depending on the workshop booking method.

A: Consultation Booking Pathway

Where a workshop is booked following the complimentary 30-minute consultation:

  • a 50% deposit of the total workshop fee is required to secure the booking;

  • an invoice for the deposit will be issued once the workshop details have been confirmed by both parties;

  • the remaining 50% balance will be invoiced following the successful delivery of the workshop and is payable in accordance with the invoice terms.

Workshop bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

B: Website Booking Pathway

Where a workshop is purchased directly through the Inner Edge Psychology website:

  • full payment is required at the time of purchase;

  • following payment, Inner Edge Psychology will contact the purchaser as soon as reasonably practicable to arrange a suitable workshop date, time, and location;

  • workshop dates remain subject to mutual availability.

General payment terms

  • Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the cancellation or postponement of the workshop or other services until payment has been received.

  • Invoices will be issued electronically unless otherwise agreed.

  • Ownership of any digital products, downloadable resources, or educational materials supplied by Inner Edge Psychology remains with Inner Edge Psychology until payment has been received in full.

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final invoices are payable within 7 days of the invoice date.

14. Workshop Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients wishing to cancel or reschedule a workshop should provide written notice as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days before the scheduled workshop date.

Where written notice is provided within the required timeframe, 14 days the deposit may be transferred to a rescheduled date.

Where written notice is provided after the required timeframe, or where a client does not attend a scheduled workshop without notice, Inner Edge Psychology reserves the right to retain the deposit and/or charge a cancellation fee.

Where possible, one rescheduled booking may be offered subject to availability.

If Inner Edge Psychology is required to reschedule or cancel a workshop due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including illness, extreme weather, or other unforeseen events), an alternative date will be arranged and, where this is not possible, any amount paid for the affected workshop will be refunded or credited.

15. Digital Products

Digital resources are supplied for the purchaser's personal or organisational use only. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, purchasers may not:

  • reproduce;

  • distribute;

  • sell;

  • share;

  • upload;

  • modify; or

No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or adapted without prior written permission.

17. Recording Workshops

Participants may not audio record, video record, livestream, photograph substantial workshop content, or reproduce workshop materials without prior written consent.

18. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for engaging respectfully throughout workshops and using the information provided appropriately within their own sporting environment.

Inner Edge Psychology reserves the right to discontinue participation where behaviour is abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate.

19. Limitation of Liability

While Inner Edge Psychology aims to provide evidence-informed, high-quality educational content, no guarantee is made regarding individual sporting performance, behavioural change, competition outcomes, or future success.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inner Edge Psychology accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of its services or resources.

20. Professional Disclaimer

Sporting performance is influenced by numerous factors including physical preparation, coaching, health, environment, experience, motivation, and personal circumstances.

Educational resources and workshops are intended to complement — not replace — professional coaching, medical care, or psychological treatment where required.

21. Privacy

Any personal information collected is handled in accordance with the Inner Edge Psychology Privacy Policy. By using this website, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in that policy.

22. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing contained within these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. Where legislation provides guarantees that cannot be excluded, those guarantees continue to apply.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State or Territory in respect of any dispute arising from these Terms.

24. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Inner Edge Psychology Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to their subject matter and supersede any prior representations or agreements, whether written or oral.

Inner Edge Psychology may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be published on this website, along with the date it was last updated. Continued use of the website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
